Along with being an artist, I am also a musician. I have been playing the guitar for a little over five years now. I took classical lessons for 3 years. I have some good training in that area, but my favorite is playing my Martin. I played quite a bit for our youth group worship team while I was in high school. Most of my friends played too so we would often get together to write songs and jam. I am also interested in rock climbing. I have done both outdoor (“real”) rock climbing and indoor gym climbing. I think that you aren’t truly a rock climber until you have done outdoor climbing. There is just nothing like it. I regularly go down to Seneca Rocks, WV, and have been to Otter Cliffs in Acadia National Park in Maine. Although I would love to climb at these places more often, they just aren’t very accessible to me at this point. I compromise by going to the climbing gym every week. It is nothing like the real deal, but it keeps me in shape for when I do go, plus it is a lot of fun too.

I’d say that the one area that drives me the most is my belief in Jesus Christ. I am a firm believer in God and that belief shapes who I am. Everything I do is modeled around that relationship. God has given me my gift of creativity and I will use it to glorify Him in any way that I can. All that I do is done for him. It is this relationship that drives me over anything else because ultimately, He is the one that I am living for.
